How we make money
How we make money.
Builders Supermarket is free for you to use. Here's where our money comes from, so you can judge what we tell you.
- Merchants pay us a small fee when you order through a quote we got for you. [Fee: __%.] Your price is the price they quoted.
- Trades may pay to be listed or for jobs we send them. [Say what applies today, or “Not yet: listings are free during our first months.”]
- Sponsors may pay to appear in our newsletter. Anything paid for is labelled “Sponsored”.
What we never do
- Take money to put a trade or merchant higher up a list.
- Take money to mark a trade as vetted.
- Edit or hide honest reviews because a business asked us to.
